Unfortunately, this scooter could have been a winner. Unfortunately, it often has problems starting for me. The dealer has indicated that the problem is related to over-filling the gas-tank. My brand new scooter won't start because it has too much gas? Ridiculous! What's more, the problem seems to go deeper than that as, from what I've read, the overflowing gas problem shouldn't stop the engine from turning over - a problem I've experienced a number of times. I was offered no explanation as to why this might be happening and, on top of it, I was charged for a non-warranty service. I expect the problem to resurface.

I had my 2006 for 3 weaks when it would'nt start. The dealer said it was the over flowing of gas tank but I nver filled it up. Then after I got it back two weeks later it would'nt start again. They tiold me had been tipped or something and that oil must of got on it. I never tipped to scooter. If I have the same problem a third time I better not get another excuse.

The gas tank has an evap system that is in place pre the EPA. Overfilling the tank not only puts the fuel into the evap system due to over filling, but will also cause fuel to spill. The solution?? Do not over fill the gas tank.
