2006 Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive

Obviously this isn't your typical scooter. A whopping 650cc engine with ABS and a passenger backrest blows away any competitor. Don't be surprised at the number of compliments (or requests for rides) you get while you're cruising around town. Its refined fuel injection system offers instantaneous throttle response. And, for convenient operation and incredibly smooth performance, it has a technically advanced Suzuki Electronically Controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (SECVTTM).

loved the bike. and bought it. Something strange. At low speeds The motor is continuously pulls the tires back. The motor jumps forth and back as you keep the gas constant. It seem it cant decide whether to change the gear or not. Making me crazy. Getting all my joy of riding in traffic.

I bought an '06 model (1200 miles on it) from a local motorcycle shop about 10 days ago. All I can say that if you can find one of these, GET IT! It's a great ride, and we can ride two up (wife and me) fine and still get 50 mpg around town. It'll keep up with a Katana on the highway, and it's amenities are good - a spacious trunk under the seat, two small storage areas and one 'lockable' front trunk. The headlight is VERY bright in both modes (dim, bright). The engine hums along fine and when you hit the POWER mode for sport or performance riding, you know it. My bike listed for $6K but I was able to get it for $5400 and it was a great deal at that price. I am VERY pleased with this 'scooter', and when riding it, I get waves from other 'real' motorcycle riders! It looks like a motorcycle for all intents and purposes, and the throttle response is awesome. If you can find one, GET IT! You can even get a 'trike' conversion for it!! With the conversion kit it looks like a 'mini Gold Wing'.... LoL....enjoy!
