I bought this bike 2 years ago for a little over $400 (CAD), and I've been extremely impressed with its performance. If you're looking at a mountain bike very not much money, this level is a great value. You get decent components, front shocks, and a fairly lightweight frame. I like the tread pattern that comes included with the bike.
