The Audi R8 is a two-passenger sports car that is expected to step up to the plate against the Porsche 911 and Aston Martin V8 Vantage. Featuring a mid-engine V-10, the R8 could have close to 500hp running through a permanent all wheel drive system. It's also expected to include a clutchless, six-speed manual transmission, magnetic ride shock absorbers, carbon ceramic disc brakes, and a fully-independent, double wishbone suspension.
