They're pushing this vehicle pretty intensely here in Canada with some (kind of annoying) TV spots encouraging you go to C30.ca and let them know what you think.

I find your commercial offensive to older women with the emphasis on her droopy breasts I am a proud grandma and do not fit the "mother" or "grandmother" image this disgusting and stupid commercial portrays. Its a dumb ad

I haven't seen the commercial you're talking about, but I think you've got a point. You've confused this site with one that's affiliated with Volvo in some way.

Just gone on sale here in Australia marketing seems pretty laid back; a couple of TV ads and 1 or 2 press ads - although significant interest being reported at dealers. Limited numbers coming in - no more than 600 per year I have heard. Pick mine up on Saturday ;-)

While I find the new vehicle quite intriguing the commerical for the vehicle is BAD. I can't imagine how many SWEDISH mothers are upset with the swinging breasts dancing around the car I only kow that I as a Canadian am very upset that anyone would assume that this is a Canadian thing. It certainily says something about Volvo and what demographic market they are seeking and for me Male 50's it is too much.

Available through Canadian dealers since March 2007. I've just made a purchase of a C30 T5 /sport from a dealer in Victoria BC. Those commercials left me flat, i was so turned off by them I wouldn't have considered the vehicle if not for the fact that the B200 Mercedes was so poorly done that I was left to search for an alternative premium small coupe (SAAB where ARE you??). Glad that I thought to give this model a look, in spite of the ad campaign. I will count my sleeps for 3 weeks til delvery. This little baby rocks!! Forget the commercials, they're a poor attempt to emulate the Mini Cooper irreverence to appeal to the urban and hip -- and casually disprespectful younger crowd. This car has the best fit and finish in it's class and is as fun as my hubbies Mini Cooper S/JCW. Small is where it's at now -- practical and safe does not have to be boring.

You should be offended. For them to imply that old womens' breasts sag is... well it's just absurd! No, that's not the word i'm looking for. Oh, true. That's the one.

Are you seriously offended by this? Too soon? Do you possess a sense of humor?Turn off your tv and listen to AM radio. You are not their intended audience.

I had a C30 custom built and it was absolutely worth the 2 months i waited for it. The 2.5 liter turbo is quick and it can get over 30 mpg on the freeway if you let it coast and you aren't too aggressive. I got 38 mpg (according to the trip computer) on a recent highway trip. Amazing car.
