Acer Aspire One 721
$430.00
Released May, 2010
The Pros:Comes with Windows 7, a full-fledged OS. HDMI port; plays HD content smoothly. Discrete graphics: ATI Radeon HD 4225 with 384MB dedicated memory.
The Cons:When it comes to battery life, AMD based devices can't keep up with their Atom / Core 2 ULV based equivalents - ~3:30 minutes of battery life. Slower 1.3GHz core speed - like Intels Core 2 ULV it is poorer for intensive applications that require raw single core processing power (eg/ games). Touchpad multitouch gestures don't work well.
The Acer Aspire One 721 is an addition to Acer's AMD based netbook line up along with the smaller 521. The 11.6'' Aspire One 721 offers the same range of ports as the 521 with three USB 2.0 ports, HDMI output, and 3.5mm audio in/out jacks.

The 721 comes with ATI Mobility Radeon HD4225 graphics with the ability to playback high definition content. The 6 cell battery (5600mAh) can provide between 6-7 hours of run time.
