Acer Aspire Predator G7710
The Aspire Predator G7710 is a high-end gaming PC based on the Intel Core i7 processor released in mid 2009 by Acer. The Predator G7710 comes equipped with the Core i7 940 (2.93GHz), plus 6GB of DDR3 triple channel memory which can be expanded to 12GB of total memory. Included is Nvidia’s GTX 260 graphics card with 896MB of dedicated video memory. The Predator can house one additional GTX 260 for a dual-card SLI setup, or up to three 9800GTX+ cards for triple SLI (purchased separately). A single 1TB hard drive is pre-partitioned so users can keep their programs and personal files separated with ease. Three additional Easy-Swap hard drive bays are available for added convenience. Everything is housed in a large mid-tower case, painted bright orange with an illuminated door on the front. The general consensus amongst expert reviewers indicates that the Predator G7710 is very competitive in terms of performance and expandability for the price.
