Acer Aspire TimelineX AS4820T-7633

$699.99 Released September, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Better build quality than previous Acer notebooks, moved away from the mediocre plastic casing. Light and compact design, good for students who use and carry the notebook around all day, light weight with the battery life to match. Good performance / price ratio with Core i3 CPU, 4GB of ram and spacious hard drive.

The Cons:Subpar customer support from Acer, it has been the same way for the years yet they have not improved it. Touchpad performance is mediocre dual to both drivers and hard ware issues.

The Acer Aspire TimelineX AS4820T-7633 is a mid-range notebook laptop similar to the Acer Aspire TimelineX AS4820T-6645. The AS4820T-7633 sports slightly lower specs than the AS4820T-6645, namely: an Intel Core i3-370M processor as opposed to the AS4820T-6645's i3-380M and a 320GB hard drive rather than a 640GB one.

Otherwise, the two laptops share very similar features, including a 14" LED-backlit display, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 5-in-1 card reader, 6-cell lithium-ion battery and integrated Intel HD graphics.

The TimelineX AS4820T-7633's 14" display sports a native resolution of 1366 x 768 while its LED backlighting ensures an improved contrast ratio over typical LCD displays while consuming less battery life. Its 5-in-1 card reader allows the TimelineX AS4820T-7633 to directly interface with some of the most popular storage cards (SD, xD, MMC, Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO) without the need for an external adapter. Meanwhile, the TimelineX AS4820T-7633's 6-cell lithium-ion battery offers up to 8 hours of continuous use on a single charge.
