Acer GD235HZ

$400.00 Released February, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:More affordable than the direct competition. Full 1080p resolution. HDMI input with HDCP compliance.

The Cons:You need to buy Nvidia's $199 3D vision kit + Nvidia card (not compatible with ATI) for 3D. High price for a 23" TN based display. Designed for gaming, poor for regular everyday use due to high cost for a regular TN display - poor viewing angles and colour depth.

The Acer GD235HZ is a 23” high-definition display monitor featuring a full 1080p resolution and specially designed for 3D aficionados. When combined with Nvidia’s 3D Vision active shutter glasses, the GD235HZ functions as a full 3D display.

The one area in which the GD235HZ is severely lacking is audio, as it includes no speakers whatsoever. Additional features include support for both a Kensington Lock Slot and VESA wall mounting.

Additional Information
