The Acer P191W is a 19" LCD computer monitor released in late 2007. This display is capable of displaying 720p HD images due to its 1440 x 900 pixel resolution. The aspect ratio of the P191W is set at 16:10, meaning it's capable of displaying widescreen video content while still maintaining enough vertical space to be useful for productivity applications and web browsing. The monitor's response time is rated at 5ms, while the refresh rate is rated at 75Hz. Generally, this monitor has been designed for a wide variety of uses, but it could be used for light gaming if required. Video inputs include one DVI and one VGA port. HDCP is available on the digital connection for playback of DRM-protected content. For the energy conscious, users will be glad to know the Acer P191W uses 37 watts of power, and less than 2 watts when idle.
