The Acer TravelMate 4730 is a line of mid-range notebooks intended for personal use or light business use. The entry-level model is the TravelMate 4730-6764 - see details below for how the other models build on this. It has a magnesium-alloy chassis that is supposed to protect it from impact damage, and uses an Intel Core 2 Duo T5870 2.0GHz processor with 2MB of L2 Cache and 800MHz FSB. It has 2GB of DDR2 SDRAM and a 160GB hard drive, as well as a Super-Multi optical drive. For graphics processing it uses Intel's Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD. It has Wi-Fi connectivity and a built-in webcam. All of the 4730 models have a 14.1" LCD display.
