The Acer TravelMate 6293 is a mid-range laptop that focuses on being portable and efficient, and comes in two different configurations - see below for details. Both models have very similar features with slightly different processors. They have about 7 hours of battery life per charge and use dual-core Intel processors, have 160GB hard drives and combination DVD reading/writing drives. The displays are 12.1" widescreen TFT LCD screens, and RAM capacity is 2GB of DDR3 SDRAM. They are compatible with gigabit LAN connections and have built-in Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/draft-N capabilities. Both units weigh 4.7 pounds.
