Acer X233H bid

The Acer X233H bid is a 23" widescreen LCD monitor and is the most advanced model in Acer's mid-range Excel Series.  The monitor features a native resolution of 1080p and includes an HDMI input for high-definition display.  It offers a high contrast ratio of 40,000:1, 75Hz refresh rate, and 5ms response time making it suitable for high-speed gaming and other entertainment applications.  The Acer X233H bid includes a tilt screen function and detachable foot stand for added convenience.  The monitor is also the only model in the Excel series that is Energy Star qualified and includes a DVI connector.  For more information see the full Acer Excel Series report.

  • full 1080p capable resolution
  • 16:9 aspect ratio is ideal for playing games, watching HD media
Cons
  • lower brightness rating due to fewer backlights (250 cd/m2 vs. 300+)
  • high resolution on 22" screen means a high pixel density - potentially hard on the eyes
  • TN panel - cheap to produce/sell and fast refresh at the expense of colour quality and viewing angles
