The Gibson Hummingbird is a mid-grade acoustic guitar which was originally introduced in 1960 as Gibson's first square-shoulder dreadnought guitar. The most current Hummingbird model is built to the same specs and standards of the original model. The Hummingbird has nickel grover roto-matic tuners with a gear ratio of 14:1 and all moving parts that are cut with exact meshing.

The Hummingbird features a high grade rosewood fingerboard with rolled edges and a split parallelogram mother of pearl inlay. The square-shoulder dreadnought body has a top constructed from a AAA-grade sitka spruce wood finish and the back and sides are made of mahogany. The Hummingbird has an element active acoustic pick up system from L.R. Baggs with a low profile under-saddle element and an on-board preamp. The rosette of the Hummingbird has a double ring with a seven-ply binding main ring and a three-ply binding on the second ring. As with all of the acoustic guitars from Gibson, the bracing is hand-scalloped. A single "X" bracing pattern is used inside the body of the Hummingbird Acoustic Guitar as more of a traditional inclusion.

Martin 000-15

The 000-15 is an acoustic guitar from Martin. Like most of Martin's high-end guitars, the 000-15 is made for the skilled acoustic player. The tone of the Martin 000-15 will stand up to a medium-style strum, but it really shines with fingerpicking and/or slide playing. It is also a stand-up performer in backing up vocalists. The modified low oval neck shape will feel good on your hand when you're gliding around the fretboard. If you tend to play with a busy fretting hand, you know the value of a comfortable fretboard that won't stiffen you up. This is especially true of acoustic guitars. With this neck style, a long show won't kill your fretting hand. The 000-15 has the option of built-in electronics, which is a plus for those who will be using this guitar for gigging. Instead of the awkward task of miking an acoustic live, you can plug in the pickup and play. The satin finish of the 000-15 ensures that it will be a good visual performer at shows too. The look is classic. Overall, the reviews of the Martin 000-15 have been very positive.

The Woody Guthrie SJ is a "faithful" replication of the 1945 Southern Jumbo played by the artist. The guitar sports nickel Gotoh white button tuners with a gear ratio of 15:1 while all moving parts are cut for exact meshing.

Baggs featuring a low profile undersaddle element and an onboard preamp with a removable volume control mounted just inside the sound hole. The rosewood fingerboard features a rolled edge design and split parallelogram mother of pearl in lays. The guitar sports the tapered dovetail neck joint design which is one of the oldest methods of joining the neck to the body of the guitar. The guitar creation process is done entirely by hand which allows the body and neck to become one solid piece of resonating wood without metal to interfere with sound vibration. The slope-shoulder body design of the Woody Guthrie guitar has a top constructed of AA-grade Sitka spruce wood finish while the back and sides are of genuine Honduran mahogany. The hand crafted rosette is a double-ring design constructed of a main ring with seven-ply binding and a second ring with three-ply binding.

The Gibson J-45 Standard is a mid grade round-shoulder dreadnought acoustic guitar. Gibson first introduced the J-45 in 1942. The J-45 Standard is patterned after the original guitar combining vintage appointments with modern features. The J-45 Standard has nickel Grover rotomatic tuners with a gear ratio of 14:1 while all moving parts are cut for exact meshing.

The J-45 Standard is equipped with an Element Active Acoustic Pickup system from L.R. Baggs which features a low profile under-saddle element and an on-board preamp with volume control mounted just inside the sound hole. The rosewood fingerboard features a rolled edge design and genuine mother of pearl classic dot inlays. The guitar sports the dovetail neck joint design which is one of the oldest methods of joining the neck to the body of the guitar. The process done entirely by hand allows the body and neck to become one solid piece of resonating wood without metal to interfere with vibration. The round-shoulder dreadnought body design of the J-45 standard has a top constructed of AA-grade Sitka spruce while the back and sides are of pattern-grade Handuras mahogany. The hand crafted rosette is a single-ring with three-ply binding. The bracing features a variation on the Gibson standard X pattern behind the sound hole. Each brace is hand scalloped with a set of tall thin braces for the back and another set of scalloped braces for the top.

It utilizes the components most commonly found on Gibson’s lower-end models, such as their Gibson Tuners with Schaller-style knobs and an ebony fingerboard. The underlying difference, however, lies in the design. The Grand Concert Rosewood (CSR) integrates the bridge from the Woody Guthrie Southern Jumbo with the rosette of the SJ-200 and the pickguard from the Blues King. They all fit seamlessly on the CSR and allow it to create full and rich sounds across any range. Additional features include a 25-1/2” scale neck crafted from solid mahogany; mother of pearl dot inlays; and a standard hardshell guitar case.

Featuring the same round shoulder body design the J-160E Peace of today sports nickel Gotoh pearloid keystone button tuners with a gear ratio of 15:1 while all moving parts are cut for exact meshing. The John Lennon J-160E Peace is produced in cooperation with Yoko Ono.

The John Lennon J-160E Peace is equipped with the Gibson P-90 Pickup system mounted between the base of the neck and edge of the sound hole controlled by one volume and one tone knob. The rosewood fingerboard of the J-160E Peace features a rolled edge design and genuine mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. The guitar sports the tapered dovetail neck joint design which is one of the oldest methods of joining the neck to the body of the guitar. The process done entirely by hand allows the body and neck to become one solid piece of resonating wood without metal to interfere with vibration. The round-shoulder body design of the John Lennon J-160E Peace guitar has a top constructed of AA-grade Sitka spruce while the back and sides are of mahogany. The hand crafted rosette is a single-ring with three-ply binding. The bracing of the John Lennon J-160E Peace features hand scalloped ladder bracing just as the original models of the early 1960s did. Like the J line of guitars, the housing for the gear and string post is designed to be durable and protect the meshed, slip free moving parts. The Gibson Montana Gold Flame Maple has its own custom peghead logo with a gold mother of pearl banner with wheat accents.
