The Acoustic Research ARIR200 is a WiFi shelf-system and table-top radio designed to aid online radio listeners by allowing them to disconnect traditional Internet cables so that they can utilize their radio with more flexibility and portability. The first of two Acoustic Research ARIR shelf systems, the Acoustic Research ARIR200 functions as both a high-performing Internet radio and an alarm clock radio, thereby allowing users to choose whether they desire to wake up with a traditional sleep/snooze, or with some form of Internet content. In fact, the ARIR200’s built-in WiFi connectivity allows it to connect easily to any wireless home router or WiFi network within range. The ARIR200 also features a traditional AM/FM radio, a USB port, an Ethernet port, and 512MB of internal memory for 10 hours of recorded music. Lastly, the ARIR200 offers free access to Slacker Personal Radio, a Personal Portal Account, and a pre-paid 4 year subscription to on demand weather from Weatherbug. The Acoustic Research ARIR200 retails for $129.99 and comes with a 1 year limited warranty.
