The Adidas Microbounce+ TR is a mid-range athletic shoe supposed to be used for training, running, or cross-training. It uses Adidas' Bounce feature, a sort of hollow plastic spring under the midsole of the shoe, and in particular the "microbounce" version is a slightly more rigid form of the technology that is supposed to provide quicker rebounding. The Microbounce+ TR has a full-length region of "bounce" under the midsole, extending from heel to toe. The upper region of the shoe is synthetic leather, and the tongue is made partly of ethyl-vinyl acetate, for added comfort. It features a composite rubber sole that is supposed to be durable and protects areas of the shoe that have the most impact, the heel and the off-toe area. The midsole is made of molded EVA and the interior of the shoe has a textile coating, once again supposed to increase comfort.
