The Adidas Micropacer is a high-tech men’s running shoe featuring a built-in microprocessor. Originally released in 1984, the Micropacer was then reissued in 2008 as part of Adidas ‘Flavors of the World’ series. The new version includes silhouettes of birds on the back/side panels, as well as a futuristic design with shiny colors that glimmer in the sunlight. Like its original, it contains a microprocessor mounted over the left shoe tongue—which functions as a pedometer, stopwatch, and LCD display. As for its construction, it features leather, nylon, and suede. Although it twinkles with bliss, it’s still durable, high-tech, and more than equipped for an exceptionally long jog.
