I'm pumped about the MLS coming to Toronto. Next season you will see the Toronto FC in the league. I am ridiculously excited. Open tryouts are Dec. 18th, but the spots are full. Prediction: the MLS will be successful.

I watched the MLS final...was rooting for the Houston Dynamo because there are a half-dozen Canadian Internationals on the team. Houston won the final in a shoot-out...the only goals in regulation came within 15 seconds of each other. The game ball looked sweet...like playing with a chrome sphere.

If you are into the MLS (Major League Soccer), you may be aware of the many soccer leagues that came before and failed in North America. I can think of a few: NASL (North American Soccer League), CSL (Canadian Soccer League), A-League, and I know there are many more.
