I just picked a pair of these shoes for CAD$125 (US$110) yesterday and tried them out in a pick-up game and practice. I'm pretty impressed by these shoes. They fit snug and the bladed stud pattern provides very good traction on the pitch.
These shoes look great, but it took some getting used to as I preferred more of a traditional *black* shoe. In hindsight, I think this is more of a stigma that I needed to get over, because all sports have colourful shoes.
I had one minor blister on my right toe after 4 hours of play time, but this was expected. I think the tapered toe was the culprit in this case. After a few more wears they will be definitely moulded to my foot.
Ultimately, I am very happy with the decision to get this shoe. The others I tried on, just seemed to pale in comparison.
