I bought these cans after i bought a PSP and an IPod so I was naturally going to get a better set to listen with. I searched around for a few weeks and read all the reviews it was a choice between the K26P's or the Sen PX200's (At the time those were the main 2 in the catagory). After listening to both I ended up chooseing the K26P's cause they just seem to be more of a 'full' sound to me. Theres nothing wrong the the Sen's but I just like the way the bass is warm and crisp and the mids and treble are nicely balanced. They ended up a little cheaper in the end as well so it was a good purchase. They were at the time an unusual design but it makes them very portable. Even though the pics may lead you to believe that they are made of cheap plastic, these babies are tough as nails! I just throw them in the included pouch and toss them in my bag. They rattle around with the books, equipment and whatever else is there and they are still sounding perfect. If I had to have a gripe with them, Id say that the headband is a little too simple. There's no padding or even any plastic between you and the headband! You sometimes end up ripping your hair out because it gets caught in between the metal. Overall though, an brilliant set of headphones for the price. They are more than sufficiently powered by something like an ipod and when you crank them, you will love it. 4.5/5
