Alpine CDA-9886

Released in January 2008, the Alpine CDA-9886 is designed to accept multiple iPod versions including the iPhone. An optional adapter, the Alpine KCE-300BT, is required to use a cellular phone via the device. This also allows a user to utilize the hands free calling and phone book applications. The unit is Bluetooth ready and can deliver streaming audio. The Alpine CDA-9886 is capable of receiving HD signals and will automatically switch between digital and analog signals. The unit comes with a 5 band graphic equalizer, a 7 band parametric equalizer(PXA-H100 required), and an adjustable high pass filter. Alpine’s CDA-9886 is capable of reading MP3, WMA and AAC file formats and has a separate output for the sub-woofer. A percentage search function allows for quicker song retrieval form an iPod.
