Alpine iDA-X100

The iDA-X100 from Alpine, released in January of 2008, is a multimedia head unit without the capabilities of a CD player. A full speed iPod cable is available as an optional upgrade and can be coupled with the alphabet and percentage search to find audio files contained within an iPod. The device is USB mass storage ready and is Spanish language ready. A full speed auxiliary input is optional and allows for the connection of a portable TV or DVD player. The LCD display will provide the same information as the iPod to which it is connected and is Bluetooth capable. The iDA-X100 can receive and play streaming audio and can interface with cellular phones depending upon service and provider. A separate sub-woofer control allows for the adjustment between 0 dB and 15 dB outputs. The unit is also HD and satellite radio ready featuring iTunes tagging for the HD radio.
