The Alpine iDA-X300 multimedia receiver, released January 7th 2008, is equipped with an Ai-NET BUS platform to allow for expandability. This feature allows for the reception of Bluetooth, HD and satellite radio signals including multicasting and streaming audio playback. Cellular phones can interface with the unit via the Alpine KCE-300BT but varies based on provider and service availability. The unit comes with a full speed iPod cable and is compatible with iPhones as well. Sirius satellite Plug N Play devices are supported with an optional adapter. Although the device does not have a CD player, an external CD changer can be controlled and utilized. A remote control is available as an option and the iDA-X300 is equipped with a 5 band graphic EQ and a 7 band parametric EQ. WMA, AAC and MP3 file formats are supported via an iPod. Other MP3 devices can be connected using the USB connection.
