The Alpine PND-K3msn is an in-car GPS receiver from Alpine's line of portable navigation devices and is an upgrade to the PND-K3 from 2008. The receiver features OnPoint advanced GPS positioning for faster and more accurate vehicle pinpointing and comes pre-loaded with maps of the US and Canada. It offers turn-by-turn voice guidance and text-to-speech functionality as well as alternate street views including 3D and highway junction views. The PND-K3msn is designed with a 4.3" wide LED backlit touchscreen with a resolution of 480 x 272 pixels and comes with a windshield and dashboard mount. The unit includes Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free calls from a Bluetooth compatible cellphone and has an SD slot to allow for MP3 and WMA music playback. It differs from the PND-K3 since it includes MSN Direct compatiblity for updates and services such as real-time traffic, weather, and gas prices, which the PND-K3 lacks.
