The Nordica Double Six Skis are a low mid-cost offering for park and pipe, geared toward skiers of an intermediate level. Nordica promotes this ski as easy to handle, with a comfortable flex. The 84mm waist of the Double Six Skis offers support for landings. The non symetrical sidecut (120-84-109 for 163, 170 and 177 sizes, 116-82-105 for 149 and 156 sizes) is ideal for mountain and park ripping. The construction of the Double Six Skis is geared toward energy transfer, which helps with controlling turns and getting edge grip. This ski differs from the higher cost Dead Money model in that the Dead Money ski is for more advanced skiers, has a higher sidecut (121-86-110) to help with landings, and has laminate woodcore sidewalls that help to make the ski more durable. The Nordica Double Six Skis are designed with a multicolored gambling-motif graphic that suits the ski's name.

Nordica promotes the Hot Rod 74 as offering control and stability. This ski's carbon Energy Frame construction is geared toward energy transfer and sturdy handling. The partial sidewall design of the Hot Rod 74 ski helps to improve the edge grip of this ski, as well as energy transfer. This ski has a double wood core, which helps to make this ski responsive, as well as durable. The Hot Rod 74 is topped off by XCT bindings, which are available in sizes five through ten. This ski differs from the identically priced Hot Rod Fuel ski in that the Hot Rod Fuel ski features slightly larger sizes, and has a Full Twin V Active construction instead of the Hot Rod 74's Energy Frame construction, so that its focus is on speed rather than handling. The Hot Rod Fuel has the i-Core rather than a double wood core, which makes it 17% lighter than previous models. Both of these models differ from the higher cost Igniter Ca model in that the Igniter Ca model has a Full Twin V Active construction with partial sidewalls, so that it is a combination of the Hot Rod 74 and Hot Rod Fuel models. There are size options available for the Nordica Hot Rod 74 all-mountain ski.

This ski is geared toward expert skiers, and Nordica promotes the Hot Rod Igniter Ca as offering stability and high performance in all snow conditions. The partial sidewalls of this ski encourage energy transfer, which helps to improve handling. The Hot Rod Igniter Ca's full twin design consists of a curved tip and tail. This design helps you to reach high speeds, as well as ski backwards with control. The 76mm waist of this ski will help you to control things when you are going fast. This ski differs from the lower cost Hot Rod 74 (which has an Energy Frame construction with partial sidewalls) and Hot Rod Fuel (which features a Full Twin V Active construction) models in that it has a Full Twin V Active construction with partial sidewalls, so that it is a combination of these two models (offering a combination of speed and handling). However, this ski lacks the slightly higher cost Hot Rod Burner model's i-Core, which makes it a more lightweight (and so faster) ski, though it lacks the Hot Rod Igniter Ca's partial sidewalls. The XBi bindings of the HR-Pro Jet Fuel i-Core help you to control turns and make them more fluid. This ski's 84mm waist will also help you to handle your direction. The HR-Pro Jet Fuel i-Core's full twin shape consists of a curved tip and tail, a design that allows you to descend at high speeds. This ski differs from the higher cost HR-Pro Helldiver i-Core model in that the HR-Pro Helldiver i-Core has a five star expert skier rating instead of just four, and has a higher sidecut (132-90-118 as opposed to the HR-Pro Jet Fuel i-Core's 126-84-112) geared toward higher speed carving on fresh and packed snow. The HR-Pro Helldiver i-Core also has larger sizes. There is a multicolored graphic on the Nordica HR-Pro Jet Fuel i-Core all-mountain ski.

This ski was built with the same construction and sidecut as Nordica's current World Cup GS ski, and won gold and bronze medals at the 2010 Olympics. The bottom of this ski is equipped with grip that helps you to navigate on hard packed surfaces. The titanium construction of the Dobermann SL R WC makes it responsive, giving you control over your moves. The titanium construction also helps to make this ski durable. The Dobermann SL R WC is made with Nordica's Energy design, which means that it has sidewalls that help with energy transfer. This model differs from the identically priced Dobermann GS R WC model in that the Dobermann GS R WC model has larger sizes (176cm.-193cm. size range as opposed to the Dobermann SL R WC's 155cm.-170cm. size range). Both of these models lack the higher cost Dobermann Spitfire Pro EDT model's Full Twin design (which consists of a curved tip and tail that help with control), and reinforced titanium design (which helps the skis to be more responsive and durable). There are size options available for the Nordica Dobermann SL R WC race ski.

The WaveFlex line of skis is designed to combine soft flex for carving turns with torsional stiffness to control the ski on the edge. The ALU profile of the WaveFlex 78 Orange Fusion is thin, which helps with flex. This design also keeps the weight down, for increased flotation. The lithium reinforcement of this ski increases torsional stiffness and flex stiffness. The Response Frame Woodcore consists of hardwood framing soft wood, which helps to create a lightweight ski with torsional stability. The RST vertical sidewalls run along the entire length of the ski, a design that increases edge grip. This ski differs from the higher cost WaveFlex 78Ti Red Fusion in that the WaveFlex 78Ti Red Fusion has mono titanium reinforcement (for more responsiveness), a larger size of binding (EL 12.0 Fusion as opposed to EL 11.0 Fusion), as well as longer ski lengths. The Elan WaveFlex 78 Orange Fusion freeride ski has a 123/78/105 geometry.

Rossignol promotes this ski as the fastest ski in the world. This ski has what Rossignol terms a World Cup construction, which consists of a sandwiched design. Because of its rectangular shape, the flex distribution of the Radical WC SG IBOX Speed is an improvement over previous models. The vertical sidewalls of this ski help you to get grip. The Radical WC SG IBOX Speed is a combination of a wood core and fiberglass/metal exterior. This ski has the exact same specs as the closely related Radical WC DH IBOX Speed, the difference being that this ski is geared toward racing and the Radical WC DH IBOX Speed is geared toward downhill skiing. The Rossignol Radical WC SG IBOX Speed is approved by the International Skiing Federation (FIS).

This ski is geared toward professional skiers. Rossignol promotes the S97 Freeride as the apex of wide ski design. Like all the skis in the Freeride line, the S97 Freeride ski has the Amptek profile (which consists of a reverse camber on the tip and tail), so that this ski has improved float on powdered snow compared to previous models, as well as improved turn capability. Thanks to the titanium laminates of the S97 Freeride, you can get lots of grip on hard packed snow. The wood core of this ski provides a sturdy feel to your run. This ski differs from the closely related S7 Freeride in that it has zicral reinforcement (as opposed to the S7's kevlar/carbon), a freeride tip (as opposed to the S7's powder shape), and smaller rockers and radius. Another difference is that while the S7 is 100% devoted to powder, the S97 is only 60%. This ski also differs from the S80 and S86 models, in that they are less devoted to powder (the S80 is 40% and the S86 is 50%), and the S80 has a smaller tip rocker (225 as opposed to the S97's 245). This ski differs from all the other models in the Freeride series in that it has a large 22.2 meter radius, which allows you to make extra wide turns. There are size options available for the Rossignol S97 Freeride ski.

Rossignol promotes this ski as being able to take on 90% of piste mountain territory. The hollow center of the Avenger 76 TI offers improved inertia and weight (compared to previous models). The IPS H concave shape of this ski allows to apply force on the sidewalls directly, which results in optimal grip. The TPI2 (Twin Pulsion Integral) binding system of the Avenger 76 TI incorporates a composite beam, and allows for tool-free mounting and adjustment. The 3D Vibration Absorption System (VAS) of this ski consists of elastomers at the tip and tail of the ski, which add comfort and stability to your run. This ski differs from the lower cost Avenger 76 Carbon in that it has a 15 meter radius (instead of the Carbon's 13.5 meter radius), and in that the TI has titanal reinforcement instead of carbon. This model has a smaller radius than the PEAK 88 model and has several of HEAD's standard alpine features, like rails that offer enhanced flexibility and energy transfer over the lower models. The "Power Rail Pro" is one of the main upgrades over the 2010 model. It has a polymer front core insert that improves cornering and overall fluidity, and the area around the bindings has fibers that tighten and absorb energy, allowing for more rebound and conservation of energy. The emphasis in this model is on speed and competition.

Nordica promotes the Dobermann GS R WC as built for stability and high speed, built and produced with the same construction and sidecut as their current World Cup GS ski. The titanium construction of this ski helps to make it responsive, which gives you control. The titanium construction also helps to make this ski durable. This ski is made with Nordica's Energy design, which means that it has sidewalls that help with energy transfer, and so help you with handling. The bottom of the Dobermann GS R WC is equipped with grip that helps you to navigate on hard packed surfaces. This model differs from the identically priced Dobermann SL R WC model in that it has larger sizes (176cm.-193cm. size range as opposed to the Dobermann SL R WC's 155cm.-170cm. size range). Both of these models lack the higher cost Dobermann Spitfire Pro EDT model's Full Twin design (which consists of a curved tip and tail that help with control), and reinforced titanium design (which helps the skis to be more responsive and durable). There are size options available for the Nordica Dobermann GS R WC race ski.

The Denali comes with the touring-ski specific Nomex woodcore that comes with a torsionally rigid Nomex honeycomb structure in the center of the core. It has a duarble beech along the edges and a lightweight poplar in the middle. This ski also comes with a lightweight and durable fibreglass reinforcement that works to deliver better handling by optimizing the flex stiffness and the torsional stiffness. The Denali also comes with a Resort Rocker profile and SST sidewalls.
This ski is comparable to the Elan Apex, which is a freeride ski that comes with a laminated wood core, DualTi technology, and a raised tail.

The SLX FIS WaveFlex Plate comes with Race Tuning, making for a consistently faster run. It also comes featuring a laminated response frame woodcore that combines two types of wood, with a stronger and harder wood making a frame around the softer, lighter wood. This harder wood supports the direct power transmission to the edge as well as providing torsional stability. This ski also comes with dual-titanium reinforcement with two layers of titanium placed above and below the wood core for enhancing responsiveness.
This ski is comparable to the Elan GSX FIS WaveFlex Plate, which is almost a twin of this ski with a lot of the same features, but comes in a wider array of sizes (176, 182, 188, 191cm).

The Volkl Unlimited AC20 is a mid-cost all-condition frontside ski. This ski is geared toward intermediate to advanced skiers. The Power Grip feature of the Unlimited AC20 places more material on the edges than traditional skis, a design that offers better edge grip and smoother turns. The 118-74-103 sidecut of the Unlimited AC20 will make for lots of turning action. The 3Motion binding system offers a better overall performance by giving you more flex under the feet. This ski is a step up from the lower cost Unlimited AC 3Motion model in that it has Sensorwood core (which uses vertically laminated poplar and beech wood for a more responsive feel), 11 TC bindings (instead of LT 10.0), and a layer of spring steel beneath the core (which provides additional stability). However, it lacks the higher cost Unlimited AC30's iPT Wideride bindings (which are wider, more secure, and lighter weight than other binding systems), Extended Double Grip (which gives you more height on the edges, for consistent pressure distribution), and Extended Wood Core (which is a full-length wood core sitting beneath the Extended Double Grip chambers, for a more forgiving feel). There are size options available for the Volkl Unlimited AC20 all-condition ski.

Rossignol promotes this ski as the fastest ski in the world. This ski has what Rossignol terms a World Cup construction, which consists of a sandwiched design. The Radical WC DH IBOX Speed is a combination of a wood core and fiberglass/metal exterior. With the vertical sidewalls of this ski, you can get grip on the slopes. The flex distribution of the Radical WC DH IBOX Speed is improved from previous models, thanks to the rectangular shape of this ski. This ski has the exact same specs as the closely related Radical WC SG IBOX Speed, the difference being that this ski is geared toward downhill skiing and the Radical WC SG IBOX Speed is geared toward racing. The Rossignol Radical WC DH IBOX Speed is approved by the International Skiing Federation (FIS).

This ski is geared toward intermediate to professional skiers, and designed to take on 10% piste territory and 90% off-piste. The S7 Freeride ski has the Amptek profile (which consists of a reverse camber on the tip and tail), which means this ski has improved float on powdered snow (compared to previous models), as well as improved turn capability. The Reverse sidecut technology of this ski consists of a spatula tip and pin tail with regular sidecut directly under the foot, which aids in this ski's maneuverability. The wood core and kevlar/carbon reinforcement of the S7 Freeride make for a stable, sturdy run. This ski differs from the closely related S80 Freeride and S86 Freeride in that they have zicral reinforcement (as opposed to kevlar/carbon), a freeride tip (as opposed to a powder shape), and smaller rockers and radius. Another difference is that while the S7 Freeride is geared completely toward powder freeriding, the S80 Freeride is only 40% devoted to powder and the S86 is 50%. This ski differs from the flagship S97 model in that the S97 has a large 22.2 meter radius (for wider turns). There are size options available for the Rossignol S7 Freeride ski.

Rossignol promotes the S3 Freeride as being two skis in one. On powder, the 128/98/118 directional sidecut allows you to make tight maneuvers. On piste, the 110/98/110 sidecut handles like a twin design. The core of this ski is all one type of wood, which helps to give it a consistent, solid feel. This ski is a step up from the lower cost S5 JIB in that it has the AmpTek system (which allows you to ski on powder with ease thanks to its front and back rockers), and the S3 Freeride has a powder tip (which is wide and raised, so that you can control the ski from the tip), as opposed to the JIB tip. This ski differs from the higher cost S6 JIB in that the S6 has a reverse camber design (-1 profile, for a versatile, floating feel on powder). This is similar to the Salomon X-Wing 6 + L10, but the rubber Pulsepad has been oversized. This larger layer of vibration absorption along the edges and in other areas of the ski create a smoother ride, making contact with the snow more consistent and increasing the responsiveness of the ski. A wider waist is also used to make turning easier. The same components that made the Salomon X-Wing 6 + L10 a forgiving ride are found here, including the use of composite materials for decreased weight and increased flexibility, and a 3D Stealth tip for easy navigation over variable terrains without loss of control.

This ski has a World Cup construction, which consists of a wood core sandwiched between a combination fiberglass/metal exterior. The rectangular shape of the Radical World Cup GS FIS IBOX Tech offers improved flex distribution over previous models. The vertical sidewalls of this ski help with grip. This ski has the same specs as the closely related Radical World Cup GS FIS IBOX Composite. However, this ski has a snub nose (which improves the ski to snow feel, as well as swing weight), which the Composite lacks. In exchange, the Composite has a composite IBOX plate mounted on it (for binding mounting), which the Tech lacks. These two models also have different sidecuts (the Tech has an SIP sidecut while the Composite has a 109/66/90 sidecut) and radiuses (the Tech has a radius of 23 meters and the Composite has a 19 meter radius). The Rossignol Radical World Cup GS FIS IBOX Tech is approved by the International Ski Federation (FIS).

Rossignol promotes this ski as being able to take on lots of different kinds of terrain. The core of this ski is all one type of wood, for a consistent, solid feel. The JIB tip of the S1 JIB is a short, rounded tip that reduces inertia on turns and jumps. The elastomer construction of this tip helps with shock absorption. The 110-80-103 sidecut of this board allows you to make wide turns with ease. This ski is a step down from the higher cost S4 JIB in that it lacks the S4 JIB's WRS (Weight Reduction System), which makes the S4 JIB extra lightweight. There are size options available for the Rossignol S1 JIB freeride ski.

It was built with a unique flex pattern, and includes features such as the Jib Rocker, a directional taper, and torsion box technology. This model replaces the previous Fujative model line.

The Press features the Jib Rocker, which has an elevated tip and tail and a zero camber underfoot for butters and surface tricks, as well as offering a pop needed for ollie tricks. The directional taper offers a marginally wider tip than tail, that works to maximize the ski's performance in the forward direction. It will then make a slightly different arc when riding switch. The torsion box technology allows for there to be specific differences between all of the K2 models, while still maintaining the same level of forgiveness, responsiveness, and energy.
This model is comparable to the K2 Domain, which also has a Jib Rocker, but differs in that it has a symmetrical taper.

It is intended for expert and technically skilled skiers, and is mainly intended for use in deep powder or open bowls. The new features on this model are Head's "Power Rail Pro" rails that increase energy transfer between the bindings and the skis, and offer more flexibility. The tip of these skis have a polymer insert in the wood core that increases flotation and improves turning accuracy. These skis are wider than the other PEAK models and have a wider radius. Another update is the standard bindings, now the Head LD 12 Wide 88 as opposed to the Monster. Fibres in the binding region increase tensile strength and provide rebound by conserving energy during hard riding segments.

The skis have been designed for athletic on-piste skiers looking for a smooth ride. This pair of skis have what Atomic calls an “energy module,” meaning a layer of scandium metal material designed to absorb destabilizing vibration and send it in the opposite direction. This entire process is described by the manufacturer as “U-Turn” technology, a feature that reduces the amount of effort required by the user to achieve more precise turns and better overall control on the slopes. The Atomic Scandium skis also feature a cap fiber construction, plus XTO 10 or XTL 9 binding options. A light track plate is optionally available as well.

Atomic D2 VF 82 Select

The D2 VF 82 Select are skis from Atomic’s 2009/2010 piste lineup. The “D2” is an abbreviation for double deck, where “VF” is an abbreviation for vario flex. Vario flex refers to the ski’s densolite core, which has been constructed to allow the ski to automatically adjust to the speed and style of the skier. The “82” refers to the waist width, which is naturally wider than similar 72 models in Atomic’s double deck product line. Between the individual decks lies an elastomer layer which reacts to pressure. When the skis are stressed, the elastomer stiffens, therefore increasing their stability and thus giving the rider better overall control on the slopes. This technology allows for better control at low speeds, and can assist with acceleration out of turns.

The Olympus Mons is wider than the average shape for most freeride skis, and is geared towards professional or high-performance riders. It comes with a resort rocker profile that has a lift in the tip and the tail so that it has an efficient float in powder as well as aiding your ride through heavier snow. This ski also comes with a channel woodcore that is super light from having channels run through the whole surface for a lighter weight as well as a smoother flex.
This freeride ski is comparable to the Elan Denali which is also in the Summit series, but comes with a Nomex woodcore and fibreglass reinforcement.

This ski is for intermediate to advanced skiers who want to hit the lifts as well as tour around cross-country style. The Skin Pin feature helps to make this versatility possible. You just push the Skin Pin through the hole and rotate 90º into position to securely attach the skin (which can then be aligned), giving you the grip you need for touring. The multi-layer wood core of the Amaruq utilizes two different densities of wood, for a stable, resilient feel. The flex pattern of this core can be tailored to each ski model, for the desired characteristics. The Power Construction of this ski utilizes vertical sidewalls, a design that helps you to get lots of grip. There are size options available for the Volkl Amaruq backcountry ski.

They have a vertically-laminated wood core and traditional wooden sidewalls. One of the main features of this model is that the sidewalls of the ski are coated with the same material as the bottom, meaning that they act as a sort of continuation of the sliding surface. They can be waxed. The bindings use Völkl's "R-motion" feature, which increases the contact width between the foot and the ski, allowing for more control and acceleration coming out of turns. Another higher-end feature is the inclusion of a thin layer of titanium for support and integrity above and below the wood frame. These skis are for experienced and expert skiers.

The World Cup construction of this ski consists in a wood core sandwiched between a fiberglass/metal exterior. The vertical sidewalls help with grip. The rectangular shape of the Radical World Cup GS FIS IBOX Composite offers improved flex distribution over previous models. This ski has the same specs as the closely related Radical World Cup GS FIS IBOX Tech. However, this ski has a composite IBOX plate mounted on it (for binding mounting), which the Tech lacks. In exchange, the Tech has a snub nose (which improves the ski to snow feel, as well as swing weight), which the Composite lacks. These two models also have different sidecuts (the Composite has an 109/66/90 sidecut while the Tech has an SIP sidecut) and radiuses (the Composite has a 19 meter radius while the Tech has a radius of 23 meters). The Rossignol Radical World Cup GS FIS IBOX Composite is approved by the International Ski Federation (FIS).

Rossignol promotes the S5 JIB as being able to perform on lots of different kinds of terrain. The JIB tip of this ski is shorter and more round than traditional ski tips, a design that reduces inertia on turns and jumps. The elastomer construction of this tip helps with shock absorption. The core of this ski is all one type of wood, which helps to give it a consistent, solid feel. This ski is a step up from the lower cost S4 JIB in that it has a HARDCORE structure (which offers a more solid feel), basalt reinforcements (which give the board more integrity), and is geared toward backcountry skiing (whereas the S4 JIB is made only for park and mountain). The S5 JIB differs from the higher cost S3 Freeride in that it lacks the S3 Freeride's AmpTek system (which allows you to ski on powder with ease), and the S3 Freeride has a powder tip as opposed to the JIB tip. There are size options available for the Rossignol S5 JIB freeride ski.

The sole difference between these two skis is sidecut: the Strato 80 TLD TI's is > 80 mm and the Strato 70 TLD TI's is < 70 mm. Otherwise, the two skis sport the same basic features, including an Independent Pressuring System and Titanal reinforcements.

The Strato 80 TLD TI's > 80 mm sidecut offers greater stability than skis with deeper sidecuts, while still providing comparable turning and edging.

The K2 First Luv is a women's ski in K2's all-mountain ski series, that is designed for beginner skiiers for an easy and stable first ride. It features a camber, women's specific mod structure, and a forward mounting position. This series is also green in that it uses locally sourced wood species.

The First Luv features a camber, which means that the ski makes contact with the snow at the traditional contact points, regardless if the ski is weighted, unweighted, or engaged in a turn. The women's specific mod structure is customized with a softened, more shaped appearance, and differs from that of the men's specific mod structure, in that the optimum location of thickness and mass differs between the genders. The forward mounting position means that the ski is constructed with the midsole 2cm forward to that of a standard men's ski, as the anatomical center of mass is much lower for a female than a male.
This model is comparable to the K2 Sweet Luv, which has been upgraded to include a catch-free rocker.

It is designed for expert level performance, and features a speed rocker, hybritech sidewalls, and also a BioFlex core. This series is also green, in that they are made from locally sourced materials.

The Burnin' Luv features a speed rocker, which has a slightly elevated tip and an increased tip length for inititaion and transitions, as well as camber on the edges to hold the edges in firmer snow conditions. The hybritech sidewalls offer a wider waist, making the skis strong and accurate with smooth initiation and turning ability. The BioFlex core is a combination of fir and spruce, which makes it lightweight while reducing the swing weight and keeping it sturdy.
This model is comparable to the K2 Free Luv, which features an all-terrain rocker.

It comes equipped with an all-terrain rocker, a progressive sidecut, and integrated hub technology. This series is also green in that it only uses locally sourced woods.

The Lotta Luv features an all-terrain rocker, which has an elevated tip for variable and soft snow performance, and a camber underfoot which holds edges in firmer snow. The progressive sidecut combines two different radii, which improved turn initiation and hard-snow performance than skis that have a single radius sidecut. The Integrated Hub Technology offers titanal hubs imbedded into the core of the ski for a direct transmission of power.
This ski is comprable to the K2 Free Luv, which also is equipped with an all-terrain rocker, but comes with triaxial braiding.

Its main features include a polymer insert in the tip that allows for smoother cornering and easier starts to turns, and it also provides decent flotation. The area in front of the bindings has special fibers that conserve energy, causing the core to stiffen and providing rebound. This model has a wooden core with a carbon jacket, and is typically paired with Head Power 11 bindings. Largely, this model is intended for use on-piste but can be used off-piste if necessary. It is basically a re-issue of the 2010 model and even features the same color patterns, though the 2010 model was itself a thoroughly refitted one.

Volkl Unlimited AC 3Motion

The Volkl Unlimited AC 3Motion is a mid-cost all-condition ski. This ski is geared toward intermediate skiers. The 116-72-103 sidecut of the Unlimited AC 3Motion makes turning easier turning than lower sidecuts. This ski is a step up from the lower cost Unlimited AC model in that it has the Wood Core feature (which promotes stability), Power Grip (which places more material on the edges than traditional skis, and so offers better edge grip and smoother turns), as well as the 3Motion system (which offers an overall better performance by giving more flex under the feet). However, the Unlimited AC 3Motion lacks the higher cost Unlimited AC20's Sensorwood core (which uses vertically laminated poplar and beech wood for a more responsive feel), 11 TC bindings (instead of LT 10.0), and layer of spring steel beneath the core (which provides additional stability). There are size options available for the Volkl Unlimited AC 3Motion all-condition ski.

Monocoque construction is used for increased response and maneuverability, with wood in the core to increase stability and rebound. The wood core also works with an oversized Pulsepad, which smooths contact with the snow and filters vibrations for increased control. A single layer of Titanium is used as reinforcement, providing improved edge grip and better energy transfer. To make all-mountain skiing possible, a 3D Stealth tip is used that uses a low flat shovel with a contact angle towards the snow. This enables easy movement over terrain variations.

The Line EP Pro is a fat and progressive freestyle specific powder ski that is intended for high-quality tricks on the slopes or in a park.

The EP Pro comes with an early taper, where the widest point of the sidecut starts tapering earlier in the tips, which works to reduce tail drag and hooking in the powder. This ski also has an early rise, where the tip rise starts earlier, allowing the tips to rise out of the powder easily and stay on top. It comes with an ABS sidewall construction, which works to isolate vibrations for a damp feel, while maintaining the stylish quality of the ski. The EP Pro also comes with a symmetric flex, where it has the same ski flex in front of and behind your boot, allowing you to ride equally either forward or backward.
This ski is related to the Line Sir Francis Bacon, which has a lot of the same pro-style features, but comes equipped with G-Cut Geometry with a 5 radius sidecut with the tightest radius being in the tail.
