Altec Lansing's Backbeat series of in-ear headphones are geared for "on the go" listening and optimized for iPods and similar MP3 players.  Soft, flexible cushions conform to the shape of your ear canal for improved bass response and maximum reduction of distracting noise.  The Backbeat 206 (aka "BackBeat Plus Mobile") sits in the middle of the line; its neodymium-backed drivers offer a frequency response of 30 Hz to 18.5 KHz -- significantly better than the entry-level Backbeat 106, but falling short of the top-of-the-line Backbeat 326.  It weighs in at less than one ounce and comes with three different sizes of silicone cushions to ensure a snug but comfortable fit.  The Backbeat 206 comes with a gold-plated plug and nearly four feet of tangle-free cloth cord.
