Elliott Brood is a band...not a man (similar to Pink Floyd in that sense). Musically, they have a sound all their own--some have dubbed it "death country", but I think it is more of an alternative sound in the rhealm of Neutral Milk Hotel or even some reminders of Blind Melon's Soup. I highly recommend this album.
