- affordable
- high performance - great for gamers or PC enthusiasts
- compatible with either older AM2+ or newer AM3 motherboards
- can be used with older DDR2 or newer DDR3 memory (depending on socket/motherboard)
Cons
- 125w TDP - very hot and power hungry (especially compared to the Q9550's 95w TDP)
