The AMTC AT-2016 is an ATSC to NTSC Digital Converter Box. It allows non-digital TVs to receive over-the-air digital TV channels. The AT-2016 is CESB certified, meaning it is eligible for use with the government coupon for $40 off a DTV converter. Unlike some other DTV converters, the AT-2016 has a smart antennae interface for use with a realtime signal optimizing smart antennae. Additionally its RF output can be set to channel three or four, unlike some other DTV converters that only output to channel three. Like most DTV converters, the AT-2016 has the ability to zoom in, and to letterbox, in order to better view 16:9 widescreen programs on a 4:3 TV. The AT-2016 however, can be hard to find.
