Hi,

I saw that you are noted as an expert for the AVRs and would like some thoughts regarding the Yamaha RX-V3900 vs the Onkyo TX-SR876. I am considering both units.

I know that both will probably sound great, so my focus is on video capabilities. I have a DirectTv HR20 (HD DVR), PS3, Wii, PC (using VGA), and some miscellaneous stuff (like an SNES, VCR, etc) that I would like to all connect to the receiver and output to my Westinghouse LCD over HDMI at the highest res possible (that looks good for each device).

I am fine with the stuff that is not 1080p not being upscaled by the receiver since my TV seems to do a decent job, but it would be ideal if the receiver could upscale well. It needs to at least pass through the HDMI and Component signals well to then be output over HDMI to my TV. I would like it if the audio and video synced up well and if changing inputs didnt require long delays to process.

Basically, video processing is my major focus and I have read some pros and cons for each receiver, so I am wondering what you as an expert would suggest.
