apache105 updated LaCie LaCinema Classic

March 14, 2009 at 4:18 am

new pro/con: Finally a reputable company has produced a way to store your movies. However it does need improvement. More input options and a record function and better remote. But they will get there.

new pro/con: Overall this is a good deal from a more reputable seller-other than the china distributors thats available now. Which can be good or bad, but one thing for sure if it don't work, its a long way back to china. So this is a good deal. What they need to include is a record function from a video in-which also needs to be included.

disagreed: "larger capacity, similarly styled LaCie models with more I/O interfaces exist for cheaper"

agreed: "USB 2.0 only"

disagreed: "visually the same as the year old LaCie Desktop Hard Disk"

disagreed: "expensive"

disagreed: "poor format support"

agreed: "compatible with OSX and Windows"

agreed: "includes a remote control"

agreed: "attractive enclosure"

agreed: "includes HDMI and SPDIF coaxial output"

tapped as "love it"
