The Aperion Intimus 4B are small 2-way bookshelf speakers at the low-end of the Aperion lineup. They feature a 4" woven-fiberglass mid-range woofer and 1" silk-dome tweeter. They are sold individually for $130 each with the step-up models Aperion 5B ($225 each) and Aperion 6B ($345 each) featuring larger mid-range woofers (5.25" and 6.5" respectively) and, thus deeper bass response. The frequency response form the 4Bs only go as low as 120 Hz (+/- 3dB), but not much more can be expected from a speaker of this size; it only measures 8.75" H x 5.33" W x 5.5" D. They are made from the same High Density Fiberboard (HDF) as the other speakers in the Intimus lineup and are available in glossy black and medium cherry.
