Apex DT1001

The Apex DT1001 is an ATSC to NTSC digital converter box. It allows non-digital TVs to receive over-the-air digital TV channels. The DT1001 is CESB certified, meaning it is eligible for the $40 government coupon in the United States. It has the smart antennae interface, for use with the automatic optimizing smart DTV antennas.  It has the usual RF and composite video outputs, as well as an S-Video output. It can also output to channel three or four when using the RF interface. A coaxial cable for use with the RF interface is included in the box. The DT1001 is one of the few DTV converters that meets energy star standards.
