Apple has just released their new Shuffle. Completely redesigned with an aluminum case. It weighs in at half of an ounce and about 1.6" square. Features a built-in clip to attach to your clothing. Available in a variety of colors with a 1 GB capacity for $49 and 2GB for $69.

Cons
- Expensive compared to products with similar features
- No display
- Can't be used as a thumb drive
- no support for open source codecs (ogg/flac)
- limited capacity
- poor colours

- larger capacity than previous generation
- ideal for working out - smaller and easier to use than any other iPod
- Decent battery life
- You can use shuffle-db (search sourceforge) to bypass having to use iTunes.
- small enough to clip on a t-shirt, but holds enough to travel to New York with
- premium sound quality
