Apple iPod Shuffle

Introduced in March 2009, the third generation iPod Shuffle remains Apple's smallest and most affordable mp3 player. With 4GB of storage capacity, the redesigned Shuffle features simplified controls now found integrated into the headphones as an inline remote, as well as a new technology dubbed VoiceOver which allows the device to announce the name of the current playlist, song and artist. Available in black or silver the device retails for $79.

While it has been slammed for not working with standard headphones, it works just fine with a third-party remote adapter (mine is made by Belkin).
