how do you sort pictures?

Does anyone know how to sort pictures on your ipod?

Amazingly enough there's very little information on the web, at least I wasn't able to find it, on how to manage your pictures on your iPod.  For Mac users it's rather easy as they can use the built-in iPhoto software, windows doesn't have that same hands-off convenience.  I was able to find only one program that syncs pictures with the iPod, and that's Adobe's Photo Album.  Download the free version here.

just put your photos into folders before you update the albums through itunes, you will see that in the preferences menu in itunes it enables you to pick and choose which folders are updated. - just a reminder you cant have folders within folders. so keep the folers titles broad like,  friends, scenery, events, logos etc.

The problem with the folder + iTunes approach is that there's no way to sort the pictures when they're transferred over to the iPod.  The pictures transfer over in a default sort (I think alphabetical) and then there's no way to reorder them on your iPod.  So if you want to have a different order, like datetime they were taken, then you're out of luck, which is pretty lame.
