Apple Macbook Pro (2008)

The next generation of the Macbook Pros were released on February 26th, 2008. This release includes several upgrades over the previous generation Macbook Pro; most notably they will include new Intel Core 2 Duo Penryn core processors running at 2.4 GHz or 2.5 GHz. Also, the Macbook Pros will feature the same Multitouch trackpad as found on the Apple Macbook Air released a month earlier.

• New Core 2 Duo Penryn core, which are supposed to be about 50% faster and more power efficient.
• New GeForce 8600M GT with 512MB.
• Multitouch pad on MacBook Pro.
• New LED option on top of the line 17" screen.
