Apple's second generation MacBook is a 13'' laptop aimed at the average student and computer user. With major revisions from the 2006 version, the new MacBook has picked up many notable features from the MacBook Pro, including a unibody design, a glass trackpad, and an LED-backlit display. The new MacBook is lighter and more durable than the previous iteration of the MacBook due to the new unibody design. However, this means the battery is non-replaceable, but it does provide 7 hours of juice. Also new to the MacBook is a glass Multi-Touch trackpad with gesture support. It's larger than the combined pad-and-button area on the old model and with greater versatility. The new MacBook uses the same Nvidia GeForce 9400M graphics processor, which shares 256MB of RAM with the main memory, as both the previous version and the 13-inch and low-end 15-inch MacBook Pros.
