The Pros:Water pocket design on the side is better than most backpacks central water pocket, more convenient to reach. More comfortable than most arc'teryx packs during torso motion. Pocket design and expandable pocket space makes organization easier, saving space and eliminating need for a bigger pack on longer trips.
The Cons:Ice axe loops are not included on this pack, despite its price and clear mountaineering intended use. Shoulder straps may squeak under heavy loads.
The Arc'Teryx Altra 65 is one of two Altra models designed for gear-heavy weekends or light-and-fast day trips. It’s lightweight at only 78 ounces, but it offers over 60L of capacity space. Included is AC2 technology, which combines GridLock adjustable shoulder straps, bonded MonoFrame, and a rotating Load Transfer Disc with lighter materials and more breathable suspension components.

This results in greater maximum load control, while not sacrificing on comfort. Additional features include a full-length inverted U-zipper for quick panel-loading access, an internal hydration pocket with a zipper, and a key clip.
