Just finished installing this on my GeForce 9600 GT using the 7v fan option. When stressing the video card with furmark, I'm seeing an approx 20°C drop. Worst case scenario I used to be getting 75° I'm now getting around 55° when pushing my card to the limit.

Update
Managed to get the video card overclocked to 755/1850/1033 (core/shader/memory clock),which is above what I was able to do with the stock cooler.
