The GEL-Arctic WR is a training shoe from Asics' Trail series for off-road training. The shoe is specially designed for winter conditions with an outsole that has removable spikes to grip icy and snowy surfaces. It features Asics' GEL cushioning system in both the forefoot and rearfoot for shock absorption during impact and toe-off. The shoe also has a water resistant upper to keep the feet dry and warm during harsh conditions. The GEL-Arctic WR includes trusstic technology, allowing it to maintain support during transition, and has an AHAR heel plug for shock absorption in the heel. It also has a SpEVA midsole which provides cushioning, durability, and shock absorption. The shoe is only available in men's sizes and has a suggested retail price of $90.
