The Asics GEL-Kinsei 2 is a high performance running shoe from Asics' Kinsei line. The shoe is designed to provide a high level of cushioning, stability, and fit, and features Asics' Impact Guidance system which optimizes the natural gait. It includes Propulsion Trusstic technology which mimics connective tissue to create propulsion during toe-off. The shoe also has a discrete heel unit which gives it Asics' highest level of shock absorption and makes it very stable. The GEL-Kinsei 2 has a DuoSole outsole for durability and is designed with Asics' GEL cushioning system for improved toe-off position and shock attenuation. It has a Solyte midsole, bimorphic fit upper, and ComforDry sockliner, which make the shoe lightweight and provide cushioning and support. The shoe also features Cuprothermo mesh lining and has an asymmetrical lacing system, allowing it to better conform to the foot.
