The Asics GEL-Nimbus 11 is a running / training shoe that improves a popular design with improved cushioning and stability. The Impact Guide System (I.G.S.) has linked componentry that enhances the foot’s natural gait from heel strike to toe-off and the Space Trusstic System creates a pocket between the Trusstic System device and midsole for a more controlled midsole deformation and more efficient foot function. The Biomorphic Fit Upper gives superior fit and function and the asymmetrical lacing design enhances upper fit and comfort while minimizing the potential for irritation. The GEL cushioning system attenuates shock during impact phase and toe-off phases while the Solyte midsole material is lighter than typical EVA and SpEVA soles and gives improved cushioning and durability. The Asics GEL-Nimbus 11 men's models is available in White/Lightning/Brilliant Blue, White/Black/Red and Onyx/Lightning/Zinc while women's models are available in White/Navy/Ice Blue, White/Lightning/Hot Pink and Silver/Lightning/Grape.
