Asus A52F
$630.00
Released July, 2010
The Pros:Outstanding specs for the price (most i3-powered laptops run at least $700). Cooling system is actually pretty effective and surprisingly quiet. Full 10-key numpad isn't too cramped for a 15.6" laptop (not to mention this is a fairly rare feature on laptops of any size).
The Cons:1366 x 768px resolution on a 15.6" display - the same that can be found standard on all 11.6" displays! Low resolution webcam. Intel GMA graphics only - poor compared to switchable or onboard graphics from Nvidia or ATI/AMD.
The Asus A52F is a mid-range notebook laptop designed primarily for multimedia and everyday use. It features a choice of Intel Core i3 and i5 processors, support for up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, a 15.6" LED-backlit LCD display and integrated Intel GMA HD graphics.
