Asus Eee Box

The Asus Eee Box is a compact desktop model from the Eee Box family of design and budget-centered computers. Based on the Intel 945GSE Express mobile chipset with integrated Intel GMA 950 graphic processing and an ICH7 Southbridge I/O controller hub (for SATA, USB and Gig-E LAN connections), the Eee Box is built on the Intel Atom N270 processor (1.6GHz with a 533MHz FSB) and includes 1GB of DDR2-400 system memory (although some 512MB RAM options are available as well in different models).

Details

Upgraded in early December 2008, the Eee Box B204 and B206 include more powerful ATI Radeon graphics cards - allowing for HDMI output - ideal for high quality digital video and audio. The Eee Box B202 comes with 80GB of hard-drive storage space and is bundled with a mouse, keyboard and necessary power adaptors.

A model was released later in December 2008 that included a Celeron processor.
