The Cons:Only a 0.3MP camera. Standard netbook components / performance - eg/ 10" 1024 x 600px display, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD. Only the lid is faux carbon fiber - the inside and rest of the enclosure is plain plastic.

The ASUS Eee PC 1001PX is a low cost netbook that comes with either Windows 7 or XP. It runs on an Intel Atom N450 CPU, which uses special energy management technology to give it 9 hours of battery life.

The outer shell has a carbon fiber style that is colored black, white or blue.

One of the added features ASUS has included "Eee Docking", a software suite that allows for the streaming or downloading of specialized content as well as a variety of syncing functions. They've also integrated font resizing and parental controls into the software.
