Asus Eee PC 1008P Seashell
$500.00
Released April, 2010
The Pros:Removable battery - a first for the 1008 line. Redesigned enclosure from a leading industrial designer (Karim Rashid) - feels great in the hands and looks really sharp compared to the rest of the current EEE line. Slim compared to most netbooks.
The Cons:High price compared to the 1005 series which offers better value - larger battery capacities, same general components. 3-cell battery - disappointing capacity gives only a fraction of the battery life (3 hours, 20 minutes) compared to the devices cheaper siblings. Odd colour selection - hot pink or coffee.
Designed by Karim Rashid, the Asus Eee PC 1008P Seashell is a netbook that has a very unique design and powerful core. The computer is powered by an Intel Atom N450 processor and uses Windows 7 Home Premium.
