Asus Eee PC 1201PN
$400.00
Released May, 2010
The Pros:12.1" 720p capable display (1366 x 768px). Available in black, red and silver. Comes with 2GB standard - a good improvement over the majority of netbooks which still come with a limiting 1GB.
The Cons:Slower single core processor than it's earlier predecessor the 1201N. Cheap looking and feeling glossy black exterior - picks up fingerprints smudges and scratches easily. Annoying dimpled black touchpad (no edges, or different material used) with stiff button.
The Eee PC 1201PN is a mid-priced 12.1" netbook from Asus. This is an Ion 2 netbook, with an Intel Pine Trail N450 1.66GHz processor, an improvement over the Diamondville Atom of the previous model, the 1201N.
