The latest addition to the Eee PC 900 series, Asus has focused on providing the best bang for the buck with the 900HA. Featuring the 900 series' body size (the same as the smaller 7" model), a 8.9" LED backlit screen with a resolution of 1024 by 600 pixels, and a 1.6GHz atom processor, the 900HA comes with a cheaper and more reasonable 160GB 4200rpm hard disk, 1GB of DDR2 memory, standard wireless (B/G), a 0.3MP webcam and a 4 cell battery. Rated at 4-5 hours of runtime, the 900HA is set to sell for an attractive $349.99 - much more acceptable than the earlier 900's and 901's price tags of $500-600. A 10" version (the 1000HA) was also launched at the same time.

Pros
- amazing full-sized laptop keyboard - blows away the competition which feature cramped and irregularly laid out keys
- uses the Atom over the older VIA C7 processors
- cheaper and more competitive for the netbook segment compared to last-gen product
Cons
- ditches the superior resolution of the Mini-Note (not even an option for the higher end models!)
- ditches the high quality alluminum finish of the Mini-Note
- poor SSD and HDD options
