The Eee PC 904HA is a netbook PC that offers a blend of entertainment and business features from Asus' 2008 lineup. The netbook features an 8.9" LCD display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and Asus' Super Hybrid Engine for improved performance. It offers up to 1GB of DDR2 memory and differs from the 900 model since it has an Intel Atom processor with a 160GB HDD. At 1.4kg, the Eee PC 904HA is heavier than the 900 due to the hard drive and also lacks the SD card reader that comes with the 900. It includes a 1.3-megapixel webcam, digital array microphone, and built-in stereo speakers. The netbook also offers Wi-Fi connectivity and has a VGA port and 3 USB ports. Pros
- 10" body allows for larger, less cramped keyboard - the same that is found on t he 1000-series
- 1024 x 600px resolution matches the 10" models, improves upon the older 7" drastically
- 1.3MP webcam
- great battery life (6.8 hours claimed)
- 160GB HDD is faster and has more storage capacity than small, inexpensive SSDs
Cons
- older style EEE keyboard, small out of place right shift, poor feel compared to chicklet or later 'sea-shell' revision
- over 3 pounds
- 8.9" screen in 10" body - ugly bezel
- older N270 processor
- 160GB HDD is heavier, gives off more heat, uses more power and is more prone to physical damage than SSDs
